I was born and raised in Groton, MA with my parents and my identical twin brother and older brother. In high school I gained an interest in engineering and game design and played soccer and track and field. I am a triple Husky from Northeastern as I recieved my B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and my PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering. I also played club rugby while an undergrad. During my time as a student at Northeastern I lived in the Fens, Back Bay, and South End of Boston. After completing my M.S. I began to teach courses in Interactive Media and Game Design for the College of Art, Media and Design and the College of Professional Studies. In 2011 I became full time faculty at Northeastern while finishing my PhD. In 2012 I moved to Ashland, MA and in 2013 I got married. Beyond my work I am interested in cooking, eating and drinking, writing, reading, playing board games, and traveling.
